Noa Elimelech, MS, MT-BC, is the creator, owner, and sole proprietor of Helping Harmonies Music Therapy based in Rochester, New York. Noa is also a co-author of the music therapy resource blog Allegro Harmonies with fellow music therapist Lindsey Oliver, also of Rochester, NY.
Noa received a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Therapy from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA in 2009, completing her clinical internship under the supervision of Wade Richards, LCAT, NMT, MT-BC at the Hochstein School of Music and Dance in Rochester, NY. Noa then pursued full-time Master’s studies at the University of Rochester, completing her Master’s of Science degree in Human Development with a specialization in Developmental Differences in late 2011.
Proficient in voice, guitar, piano, and various percussion-based instruments, Noa has provided music therapy services in a vast array of clinical environments. These settings include [but are not limited to] senior care facilities, schools (grades K-12), hospitals, group homes, and community centers.
Helping Harmonies Music Therapy of Rochester, New York currently provides music therapy services for children and young adults with special needs in school settings (grades K-12), as well as traditional and adapted instrumental instruction.
